3. St. Martins Benefit Advent Market

On the weekend before Christmas (19. & 20.12.2015) organized the St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge the meanwhile 3rd charity Advent market. Directly in front of the spa entrance guests and visitors found a small but fine Advent market. The net proceeds in the amount of € 4,200, - is donated for a good cause, that still before the Christmas holidays to the team Austria Red Cross in Neusiedl am See could be handed over. This will help needy families in the region Neusiedler See .

Without the cooperation of so many regional partners, it would not have been possible to raise such a high amount of money on these two days, with which we can help needy people in the region a little together with the Red Cross!"

EWA Marketing Award 2015 to St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge

The FSB/Aquanale trade fair in Cologne provided the ideal setting for the presentation of the EWA Awards 2015. The awards, which the media like to dub the "European Swimming Pool Oscar", are presented by the European Waterpark Association e.V. to particularly innovative concepts in product design and marketing.

The EWA Marketing Award 2015 went to St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge. This presents itself as "Europe's first lodge" modeled on African nature resorts. Its location in the nature reserve at Neusiedler See is predestined for the combination of wellness, recreation and nature experience. "However, the "Big Five" are not hunted, but rare bird species - and this only with binoculars and a telephoto lens.

Silver medal for junior tourism staff

While visitors to the St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge in Burgenland Seewinkel become explorers, apprentices of the tourism business are "discovered" by jurors as experts in their field thanks to their excellent skills: Thus happened in the context of the apprentice national championships for tourism occupations in Altmünster, where the hotel trade & catering trade apprentice of the St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge Fabian Schreibeis won a silver medal. "St. Martins Runner" earns 600 Euro for the SPZ Frauenkirchen

Runners bring joy - this is doubly true at Seewinkel this spring: on the one hand, the first returning migratory bird is the dark sandpiper, and on the other hand, another runner brings glad tidings in the form of St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge employee Johann Tesarek: with his charitable ambition, the sporty employee ran up a handsome sum for the benefit of the SPZ Frauenkirchen. For every kilometer run, one euro was donated to the special education center. In cooperation with St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge and Mode Otto Unger, EUR 600,- could be handed over to the director of the SPC, Jutta Peisser, on March 6, 2015.

Spring messengers: First migratory birds arrived in Austria

The first migratory birds have arrived in Austria - in Burgenland's Neusiedlersee National ParkSeewinkel , rangers from St. Martins thermal baths & Lodge have spotted one of the first migratory birds to return from their wintering grounds in Africa and southern Europe in the form of the dark sandpiper. The Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel region is the largest bird paradise in Europe with more than 340 bird species.
