They move only on the area of the St. Martins Spa & Lodge - the team of the bird enthusiasts "St. Martins Maskenstelzen" - and nevertheless they could count 98 bird species at the Austrian BirdRace of this year on 9th of May. Easter bunnies for the Red Cross - The St. Martins Spa & Lodge thanks the Red Cross

Markus Pfeffer, St. Martins Spa & Lodge, was able to spread a little Easter joy at the Red Cross in Neusiedl on Maundy Thursday: he brought over small chocolate Easter bunnies as a thank you for the tireless helpers, which were gladly accepted by Red Cross President Friederike Pirringer and duty manager Florian Feldmann. The Easter bunnies were actually intended for the spa guests and were now donated to the Red Cross - in recognition of the special services that are currently being performed.

A warm welcome: Goat offspring in St. Martins

The St. Martins rangers can be pleased about multiple offspring - a total of six pygmy goat fawns were born in the past weeks. Foster kid Conny & Co enjoy the spring and the special care by the St. Martins rangers, who look after them lovingly.

When the birds hold a wedding: Dressing up, fighting, yodeling - during courtship everything is allowed

Around 350 bird species are native to Europe's largest bird paradise - the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park. In spring, they put on a special show for all bird-watchers and those who want to become one: courting their partner - or mostly their mate. Bridal gifts, courtship flights and the most diverse rituals, chattering, fighting or snapping - guests can observe many things during the courtship safaris of the St. Martins Rangers. A particularly impressive spectacle will soon be on view, as the Great Bustard, one of the heaviest flying birds in the world, will soon be on the lookout for a mate.

Spring messengers in January in the approach: First lapwings landed

Whereas in other countries the groundhog greets us daily and announces spring, in this country the first sighting of the lapwing means the approaching spring. In Austria, too, the warm winter has had an effect on the animal world: as early as 22nd January, the St. Martins Ranger spotted the lapwings as the first messengers of spring in the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park.
